　　Description

　　Friedman Real Estate, one of the nation’s leading commercial real estate firms, seeks to hire a dynamic individual to join its growing team as a Commercial Lease Manager. As a key member of our real estate Leasing Team, the Commercial Lease Manager will be responsible for leasing space throughout the company’s owned and third-party managed commercial real estate portfolios. The company’s owned and third-party managed real estate portfolios include a combination of office, industrial and retail buildings located across the Midwest, South, Southwest and the Plaines States.

　　Responsibilities for the role include the following:

　　Renewal of Existing Portfolio Tenants: contact tenants in the existing portfolio with upcoming lease expirations and work with ownership to negotiate terms for their continued occupancy.

　　Preparation of Space Plans: work with in-house Construction/Design Teams to prepare tenant space plans and other conceptual drawings when needed.

　　Drafting Lease Proposals: assist internal leasing brokers with drafting lease proposals that address critical lease terms including rental rate, lease duration, incentives, tenant improvements and allowances.

　　Participation in Weekly Meetings: take part in weekly meetings including leasing team update meetings with ownership, construction kick-off meetings, property management coordination meetings, as well as meetings on-site with existing tenants to review space needs.

　　Preparation of Weekly Leasing Reports: use the company’s proprietary CRM database to keep track of leasing activity and to prepare detailed leasing reports for ownership.

　　Qualifications

　　Additional qualifications for the role are as follows:

　　Minimum of a 4-year degree from an accredited college or university.

　　Paralegal or law degree a plus.

　　Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

　　Ability to work independently and with others.

　　Ability to prioritize and multitask.

　　Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other database applications.

　　Interest in and desire to learn the commercial estate trade.
