This position supports the Advanced Capabilities and Dissemination Division (SXMC) and has three dedicated teams responsible for promoting and delivering GEOINT resources to meet customer needs, support commercial GEOINT, and to promote and implement strategic vision by leading development and implementation, this position requires the ability to work well with multiple levels of leadership, with a strong customer service focus.
Currently ManTech is seeking a customer-oriented Commercial GEOINT Systems Advisor to join our team in Springfield, Virginia.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide technical expertise for SXMC mission critical programs and services to deliver imagery and GEOINT analytic services to the NSG/ASG and outside customers.
Perform assessment and analysis of proposed commercial integration activities of commercial imagery and other initiatives to ensure compliance with the current enterprise architecture and integration with the NSG/ASG.
Provide data to make informed decisions to maximize future strategic program investments for commercial GEOINT solutions required by the Government.
Provide contractor support capable of providing training to internal and external audiences on the tradecraft and best practices of GEOINT collection, exploitation, and dissemination.
Actively participate in discussions, meetings, and off-sites to build consensus and develop solutions related to technical and programmatic concerns and issues.
Participate in the design, engineering, and implementation of procedures for enhancing the operational management, processing, disseminating, and storing commercial imagery and services. (Note: these activities may create an Organizational Conflict of Interest for related future procurements)
Assist with development and implementation of best practices, processes, and procedures as well as development and writing standard operating procedures for mission support.
Participate in the definition and development of performance metrics, and assist with metrics analysis; recommend and implement improvement to the reporting and delivery of performance measures to the Office, Group, Directorate, and Agency-level consumers and the NSG/ASG.
Prepare briefings, presentation for internal and external meetings and conferences.
Participate in working groups that support evolving enterprise development activities for the Agency.
Assist with the management and maintenance of all end user data licenses, Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), and other agreements with vendors and our mission partners.
Participate in working groups that address long term planning as requested by the Government, including support for specific meetings, conferences briefings and related activities
Provide the expertise necessary to screen schedule and evaluate all office correspondence, taskers, and action items.
Schedule, coordinate, and participate in monthly program review meetings as requested by the Government POC (GPOC).
Contractors may support, facilitate, or lead meetings, brief senior leaders and other employees and provide subject matter training using standard NGA desktop applications.
Contractor shall help resolve technical and non-technical problems associated with Commercial Imagery and Services programs to include briefings, presentations, and operations.
Maintain calendar and conference room schedules.
Provide expertise and knowledge in Microsoft desktop applications.
The contractor shall provide expertise across multiple domains of service.
Provide expertise on enterprise architecture and integration with the NSG/ASG as relevant to commercial imagery and other commercial initiatives
Coordinating with the NSG to integrate solutions into the GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA).
Managing commercial GEOINT imagery utilization, tradecraft, and PED advancement within the agency and ASG and across third-party partnerships
Managing integration of new data sets across multiple classified and unclassified domains to both US Government and Allied systems
Driving efforts to secure and integrate new commercial GEOINT data and service capabilities in support of initiatives
Increasing understanding of stakeholder operational and strategic requirements while championing sustained engagement with the NSG and the Global GEOINT Enterprise
Responding to outages in a timely manner for the time dominant environment. The time-dominant environment is defined as 24x7, with rotating schedules to support a fully staffed open-source watch desk.
Participating in the testing, evaluation, and validation of commercial imagery sources to ensure they meet vendor specifications, contract milestones, and program commitments.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
11+ years of experience GEOINT experience
Experience in a distinct intelligence functional or cross-functional business area. Experience may be broad-based crossing multiple markets (i.e., government, industry) and may also include relevant/associated certifications and knowledge of applicable tools, methodologies, or best practices.
Experience coordinating activities performed by specialists or other staff as necessary for activities related to the specified field or discipline.

NGA Source Strategies Analyst (SSA) experience
Military GEOINT experience.
Prior experience with Commercial Imagery platforms
