Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Sales & Marketing Support Teams assist with implementing sales/marketing initiatives by providing technical and/or product information support (i.e., data analysis, tracking, etc.). They are also responsible for planning and coordinating promotional programs and other communications initiatives.
This position will support a regional sales team ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely adherence to the business requirements. This includes but not limited to support of Sales Force management of opportunities for data quality and content. Adherence to processes and procedures for usage of opportunity management, account planning, booking forecasting, and demand planning. A key element of success for this role will be the ability to be agile to required demands, foster strong relationships with account managers, and drive change management and adoption. In the role, the ideal candidate with support the regional leader in their monthly operating system cadence, training adoption, and sales incentive plan support. This role with work closely with the rest of the Global Commercial Excellence organization ensuring cross regional alignment.
A key element of success for this role will be the ability to take large sets of data and reports, analyze, and provide insight, cause & effect, and key business indicators, while concisely presenting them to the organization for the purpose of influencing behaviors and business decisions. In addition, critical thinking, and continuously challenging existing practices to drive impactful business results is expected. This position will play a key contributor role in the continued development of the commercial organization in the growth, responsibilities, and expanded contributions to the business. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including knowledge of current business trends. • Provides input on resolving critical issues that impact the function.
This role will support the Commercial Excellence organization as a liaison to finance in responsibilities of monthly, quarterly, and year end close analysis, budgeting, and completion of bridge analysis as needed. The role will work to enhance the coordination of bookings forecast into the demand tools on a timely and accurate basis.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Weekly support in region for booking forecast outlook to plan and gap closureWeekly facilitation of demand forecast variances to product management Support staff calls for regional lead and key account managersSupport adoption of facilitated trainings for sales methodology, tools (IBP, SFDC)Facilitate per management operating system the cadence of reviews for pipeline, account reviews, etc. Support commercial analyst for quarterly commitment forecast refreshes, monthly close bridge, and annual review of market alignments Support in country regional leader for monthly business reviews, quarterly business reviews, and analysis review as needed. Support SIP/ Competencies leader for quarterly reviews, annual processesEnsuring adoption, reviews and processes followed within region to align to global standards
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or other related function7 years of related experience in sales, marketing, and/or commercial organizationsMotivated individual able to learn quickly and work in a face paced environmentExperience presenting to all levels of the organisation including senior management. Ability to work well in a cross-functional environment with regional and global team membersSolid understanding of and the ability to identify the key levers that create commercial business value (i.e., Sales and Marketing)Strong background in financial analysis, sales, and evaluation of opportunities (particularly in Excel)Strong Customer Service orientationStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
