Deloitte Digital offers services that enable client solutions using digital technologies, including the Web, Mobile, Social Networking, Digital Strategy, Digital Content and Digital ERP. The Digital Web team works with clients to advise, design, implement and deploy eCommerce and Portal solutions.
Our eCommerce capabilities provide transactional solutions related to online marketing, sales and service; for both Direct-To-Consumer and Business-to-Business. Our Portal capabilities provide intranet and internet solutions focused on content presentment and transaction capabilities for both internal enterprise as well as customer facing purposes.

Work you'll do
You'll help clients define their requirements by leading and facilitating working sessions to gain an understanding of the client's current state processes and technology in the eCommerce space as well as supporting the implementation that follows. We are looking for a Commercetools developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming, transitioning seamlessly between platform configuration, and frontend and backend development.
Demonstrate prior experience with Commercetools through strong understanding of use cases enabled by promotion engine and other merchant center configurations
Bring deep knowledge of Commercetools APIs to identify relevant end points for use cases
Extend Commercetools APIs to support all specific business requirements
Drive design for structured and nested data models for key data entities in Commercetools
Execute import / export of data from the Commercetools platform
Bring strong experience headless user interface development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks
Deep experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs, and solid understanding of microservices-based architecture patterns

Qualifications:
Required
Prior experience with implementing Commercetools and other microservices based commerce platforms
5+ years of IT experience
3+ years related experience in Bootstrap, Angular JS, REACT, NoSQL DB, API, Cascading Style Sheets, HTML5, JavaScript, Agile Software Development Methodology
Experience in working with Programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP or Django
Strong knowledge of server technologies including Linux, Apache, Node.js, Nginx, Ruby on RAILS.
Experience on working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP.
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Limited sponsorship may be available

Certifications are a plus
Experience working in a professional services firm or working in a client service environment
Experience with Kubernetes and DataStax tools including Cassandra, Solr, DSE Graph, Spark
Good understanding of stream-processing software platform like Kafka
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $229,500.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
