Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Healthcare Collector to join a large healthcare organization in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, in-person contract to hire position for 6 months, with the option to go fully remote or stay in person upon conversion to a company employee. You will report directly to an onsite lead and manager, and work alongside other collectors and billers who are onsite or remote based on preference.
As a Healthcare Collector, you will be responsible for collecting and processing medical claims, ensuring timely and accurate payments from insurance companies, patients, and other payers. You will work with claims and denials in a healthcare setting, and have experience with Office 360, mainly Excel. You will also have at least 1 year of experience with collections as a whole, and hold a high school diploma or GED.
In addition, you will have experience working with Aetna insurance and the SIS system and/or Vision (or either one). You will begin each day with 2 hours of denials, and then work through and touch accounts, all of them at least once a month. You will touch up to 33 accounts a day, and have the option to work 4x10s, 4x9 + 1/2 day, or 5x8s during the week. You will be allowed a 30-minute lunch break, as well as 2 other breaks, with no dress code for in-office work.
Skills and Requirements
-1+ years' experience with collections as a whole
-Highschool Diploma or GED
-Worked with claims & denials in a healthcare setting
-Experience with office 360 mainly excel -Have experience with Aetna insurance
-Worked with SIS system and Vision (or either one) null
