What you'll do:
Collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast-paced goal-oriented collections department.Issue statements and copy invoices to clients when requestedMaintain a high level of understanding of the status of all accounts for each and every customer; this includes identifying any potential issues that would prevent/delay payment for servicesEstablish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with internal and external customers.Proactively resolve issues within assigned accounts in a timely manner working with other departments including billing, revenue team, order management, business development and account managers when required; escalation to management team when needed to accelerate the collection process.Preparation and processing of payment proposals, manual payments, customer refunds - ensuring that all payments are approved, uploaded and signed on timeMaintenance of client receivable ledgers processing account adjustments, small balance write-offs, customer reconciliations and credit memos (after proper approval is obtained);Ensure audit queries are answered in a timely mannerSupport cash allocation by obtaining remittance adviceParticipate in team planning meetingsMeet defined department goals and metrics
Who you are:
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a high volume, credit and collections roleExperience working with systems, Oracle and GetPaid a plus but not requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to build positive working relationships across the department, within different teams and at every level in the organizationDemonstrate good judgement and ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesSelf-motivated with an analytical mindset and good numerical skillsStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time managementAble to work in a highly effective manner with a wide variety of stakeholders to deliver exceptional, high-quality resultsAble to manage a busy workload with conflicting prioritiesPersonable and approachable with a hands-on and can-do attitudeStrong customer service skills.

The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is$20-$34 USD
