Code Next Affiliate, Instructional Manager- DC Analyst
The Deloitte Strategic Engineering team is looking for a passionate Instructional Manager for the Code Next Affiliate program. As part of the Code Next project, you will join an energetic team devoted to increasing access and exposure to Computer Science in underrepresented communities. In 2024 and beyond, Code Next will focus on increasing its reach and deepening impact through a network of supported Affiliates. The Code Next team will partner with each organization over a three-year period, supporting Affiliates with some funding, curriculum access, and training.
Work You'll Do:
Code Next is a client program on a mission to build social capital in Black, Latinx and Indigenous neighborhoods by developing culturally engaging and community-centric tech innovation experiences for high schoolers.
This role will be responsible for 1) leading partnership training and ongoing support for Affiliate partners, 2) curriculum development and adaptation, 3) supporting operations, 4) data collection and usage, and 5) identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Partnership Training and Support: Manage and lead partnership training and support, including:
Facilitate dynamic and interactive professional development sessions for Affiliates, training them in the Code Next model
Providing differentiated support to partners with varying levels of technology skills and comfort levels
Maintaining ongoing support to partners through one-on-one coaching, peer observations, and collaborative learning community
Curriculum Development: Adapt the Code Next curriculum for the Affiliate program, including:
Identifying and maintaining the best 3-year curriculum model for partners
Maintaining a comprehensive library of up-to-date resources, tutorials, and best practices for partners
Data Collection: Supporting on data collection and assessment, including:
Identifying and improving data collection processes for demonstrate student progress
Measuring the impact of professional development initiatives on Affiliate practice and student outcomes
Collect and analyze feedback, usage data, and other metrics to inform continuous improvement
Growth and Development: Support marketing and growth efforts surfaced by Community Manager and Volunteer Manager, including exploring opportunities for surfacing Code Next curriculum through online mechanisms.

Marketing Technology and Advertising Technology solutions
Marketing analytics implementation and operations
Advertising campaign ideation, development and execution
Acquisition and engagement campaign ideation, development and execution
Agile based, design-thinking, user-centric, empirical projects that accelerate results
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Computer Science or related field
3+ years of teaching in formal or informal education settings (K-12 or higher education)
1+ year of object-oriented programming experience (Python or JavaScript)
Ability to travel up to 10% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
Proven expertise in instructional design and adult learning principles
Experience with curriculum development
Experience with adult professional development
Experience with online course development
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to build strong relationships with teachers, administrators, and nonprofit partners
Data-driven decision-making and a commitment to continuous improvement

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $61,120 to $91,680.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
