The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an experienced CNC Tool Maker to join the Saint-Gobain team.
The CNC Tool Maker must be able to fabricate and/or repair precision parts, dies to support production operations. They will set up and operate a variety of computer-controlled and mechanically controlled machines, manufacture tools to produce precision metal parts, fixtures, and die components.
Machining tools, fixtures and die components prior to and after heat treating.
Must be able to read, review, understand and interpret blueprint specifications for machined and/or fabricated parts with special focus on stamping die components. Competent in use of inspection tools.
Compute and verify dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of work pieces
Set up, operate, and disassemble conventional, manual, machine tools
Must have general inspection knowledge and experience with Master Cam.
Experience with measuring tools (mics/calipers, bore gauges, etc.) for size and quality verification based upon specifications.
Develops specifications from general description and draws sketch of part or product to be fabricated, as required.
Operates surface grinders, tool room lathe, turning and mill.
Performs precise grinding of tooling and uses various gages and micrometers as required.
Train other team members on tool and die making operations.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
GED/HS Diploma (preferred)
Minimum of 10 years relevant Tool and Die maker experience
Journeyman status (preferred)
Experience with machine set up and programming
Able to work independently
Strong team player

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $36.00 to $44.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $82,300 to $100,600. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
