POSITION SUMMARY:Under direct supervision, the CNC Machine Operator performs straightforward tasks and operates routine production equipment and machinery, ensuring the maintenance of a safe work environment with an ultimate goal of zero accidents.

JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Setup and operate fabrication equipment, not limited to Core-Drill, Trim Saws, Grinders and CNC LatheQuality inspection of product using proper measurement and gaging equipmentResponsible for product qualityTroubleshoot production issues and work with Manufacturing Engineer to resolveAbility to read a blueprint/part drawingTroubleshoots machines that are not at peak performance and finds solutions to problemsMust meet and maintain daily production targets (once fully trained)Wear proper personal protective equipment as necessary including but not limited to: eye and hearing protection, safety shoes, lab coats, gloves, dust masks and respirators.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSExperience/Background:1+ years' experience with CNC Machinery1+ years of relevant experienceVocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Work may be performed in an office or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb. May have possible exposure to dust, and may require the ability to lift and/or push up to 50 pounds 33% - 66% of the time.
