PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a Consumer and Market Insights Coordinator , you will play a vital role in our organization's market research efforts in the foodservice industry , focused on Argentina, Chile, Peru , Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay ( SoCo ) . You will work closely with our Marketing, Research & Development , Innovation , Sales, BI and Trade Marketing teams to gather and analyze data, monitor industry trends , and design surveys to provide valuable insights that will inform and guide our strategic decision-making . This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food and consumer behavior to gain hands-on experience in a fast -paced and innovative industry .
-Data Collection and Analysis : Collect data from various sources , including surveys , focus groups , secondary data, and market reports . Analyze and interpret this data to identify trends and food expert's preferences in the foodservice industry .
-Evaluate business questions to propose and select the correct qualitative or quantitative method that brings improvement opportunities .
-Competitive Analysis : Conduct in-depth research on competitors and market players . Provide insights on their strategies , offerings , and market positioning .
Operators Behavior Research : Study consumer and operators ’ behavior and preferences related to foodservice needs . Use this information to portrait operator’s profiles and recommend strategies for better solutions and customer engagement .
-Data Sources development : uncover new data sources , focusing on improving the accuracy of the analysis of our core targets.
-Trend Monitoring : Keep abreast of industry trends , including sustainability , health and wellness , and technological advancements . Report on how these trends impact the foodservice industry .
-Data Visualization : Create visual reports , charts, and graphs to effectively communicate research findings to internal stakeholders .
-Recommendations : Collaborate with the team to provide actionable recommendations based on your insights , contributing to strategic decisions in product development and marketing.
-Cross- functional Collaboration : Work closely with Marketing, Research & Development , Innovation , Sales, BI and Trade Marketing teams to ensure that operators insights are integrated into decision-making processes .
-Stakeholder and market research suppliers ' management or creation : efficiently develop relationships based on needs , expectations and outcomes .
-Creative: being able to propose new ways to obtain insights in markets with limited resources .
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY FOR THE VACANCY?
Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, business, communication, social sciences, economics, market research, or a related field.
Effective experience with broaden market research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and/or software (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Power BI. Pursue Python, R, SPSS and other statistical languages / programs are a plus.
Ownership and ability to work independently and remotely and in a team, as the person in position works connected to a regional team (Latin America) and also global team.
A natural interest in food, cooking and in the food service industry.
Skills and abilities
Good presentation skil ls.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency verbal and written in English is mandatory.
