Benefit summary sheets areavailable upon request or shown at www.prevea.com__________________________________________________________________________________________Brief Description of Job Responsibilities: * Room patients, obtainbrief patient history, complaint, and document pertinent information *Perform vital signs and other department specific screenings asapplicable * Facilitate/perform lab and diagnostic testing per providerorder * Assist with office procedures as directed (may include but notlimited to: injections, phlebotomy, cast/splint application, etc.) *Provide telephone advice to patients as directed * Communicate withproviders regarding patient calls * Call in prescription refills asdirected * Communicate with hospitals and other offices as directed bythe providers * Complete referral forms, and make referral appointments* Act as a liaison for physicians * Facilitate completion of forms(ex. W/C, insurance, etc by the physicians) * Use of electronic medicalrecord (EMR) (may include but not limited to: documentation, referrals,scheduling, order entry, pre-certification, etc) SpecializedResponsibilities: Performance Requirements: * Ability to work in a fastpaced environment * Must display excellent teamwork * Ability to workunder stressful or emergency situations with high concentration andenergy level * Must possess logical thinking skills to effectivelysolve problems Education/Experience/Certifications: * Current Certifiedor Registered medical assistant. * Current CPR certification *Excellent communication skills * Proficiency in the use of computer,phone, and office equipment * If holds other licenses that supersedeCMA/RMA license may practice to the highest level of licensure with theapproval of Quality Resources in writing. Approval to be kept on filewith department supervisor. Employee must maintain licensure to continueworking at higher level of service.
