As Cloud Solution Architect you will work with and at the customers to drive their cloud security adoption. You will focus on the most important companies in the market and discuss with them how to simplify their security environment by using Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities
As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) in the international Security Team you support our customers in making their environment more secure. You evaluate the customers infrastructure, and help the customer to use and understand the Microsoft Security Portfolio. The Cloud Solution Architect consults and removes blocker in the customers security journey.
In this part of the role you:
Lead and support on strategic customers. Leverages existing architecture approach or reference architecture to propose a security solution or achieve Microsoft''s agreed commitments to the customer.
• Help customers create their security plan and strategy to transform their security practices to a more modern and cloud-native approach, using Microsoft security solutions.
• Proposes viable solutions based on specific MS security products. demonstrates complex concepts and proves the capability of those solutions through design collaboration sessions with the customers.
• Apply technical knowledge of security architecture and solutions to meet business and information technology requirements and resolve identified technical constraints.
• Supports customer projects as a subject matter expert in a specific Microsoft Security solution.
Understanding Customer Technical Environment
• Gather customer insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs) and leverages these insights and existing plans to map solutions with customer business outcomes. Identifies technical blockers to accelerate consumption and deployment.
• Proactively support customers in their Azure cloud adoption journey, helping them to define a Secure Architecture, implementing the necessary security and compliance controls.
Another part of the role is to develop Workshops and framework for other Cloud Solution Architect to deliver these Material to their customers. You create and design the Workshop end to end with a Team of highly skilled professionals. You curate and produce high quality guidance for our internal and external communities and customers.
In addition to the above you act as interface between other Cloud Solution Architects and the developers of the Microsoft Security solutions and give feedback what features should be enhanced.
You Act as the voice of the customer (VOC)/ by driving awareness of existing feedback, gaps, blockers, insights, resources, etc. across communities to track, add, and prioritize, using established channels.
Ideally you bring experience in customer facing roles and leading deep technical discussions with senior customer executives, Architects and IT Management.
As Cloud Solution Architect you know how to discuss with customers respectfully when they go into the wrong direction and help them so change that. You understand the competitors architecture and are able to identify Microsoft strengths over those solutions. In this role you are a member of a highly professional team that focus on security and learns from each other and supports each other.
Qualifications
Technical Experience: The ideal candidate will have a breadth of knowledge across cloud security computing domains and expert level hands-on experience in Microsoft Security – SIEM & XDR, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, and Identity – Expertise focus:
• Microsoft Sentinel
• Microsoft Defender
o Defender for Endpoint (MDE)
o Defender for Office (MDO)
o Defender for Identity (MDI)
o Defender for Cloud (MDC)
o Defender for Cloud Apps (MDCA)
• Cloud or Network Security
• Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud security, hybrid infrastructure security, and network security
Breadth of technical security experience and knowledge, with depth and Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following:
• SIEM and Cloud Security Analytics
• Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Extended Detection and Response (XDR)
Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Azure and Security architecture, Microsoft Security, CISSP, CCSP.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND at least 5+ years’ experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
• OR master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years’ experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
• OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of success in delivering complex technical security and compliance deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed infrastructure and applications
For Austria: salary starting from 71,300 euros depending on experience.
