The Cloud Media Solutions organization builds technologies and innovations that easily integrate into service providers' infrastructure to make content experiences more effective, meaningful, and engaging for consumers.
Overview:
You would be a key member of a high-visibility Dolby cloud processing research and development initiative, defining and developing scalable and highly distributed cloud processing infrastructure.
This is a technical contributor and developer role which requires strong mathematical and algorithm development skills, including relevant ML/AI hands-on experience.
Professional node.js and python coding experience is required, with experience in Golang and/or RUST also being of interest. Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure such as Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure, is required. Finally, understanding of Docker virtualization, network stacks, encryption and security concepts, and database technologies, are all a plus.
The position demands a candidate capable of doing quality work against technical and schedule challenges in an agile environment, following strong software design and process principles. You will be working in an international team with talented engineers on cutting-edge technologies while continually growing your skills as an engineer.

Key Requirements & attributes for successful applicants include: M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable field. 3+ years' professional experience designing, developing, and implementing algorithm centric solutions. 2+ years' professional experience with node.js and python. 2+ years' professional experience with ML/AI frameworks. The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $131,100 - $157,700, which can vary if outside this location,plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
