INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN EXPERT IN NEURODEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS?
AAPSA has immediate openings for full-time psychologists in our Utica and Syracuse offices! This is an amazing opportunity for new and experienced psychologists who are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families struggling with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental disorders!
Psychologists work closely with our clinical leadership to conduct scientifically-based, comprehensive diagnostic assessments of children, adolescents, and adults presenting with neurodevelopmental disorders, and learn extensively about differential diagnosis of common disorders including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, Tourette’s disorder, dyslexia, dyscalculia, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Psychologists will also receive extensive training in understanding the role of clinical interviews and observations, psychological and neuropsychological testing, evidence-based assessment techniques, and case conceptualization. Clinical supervision and training is provided sufficient to become an expert in neurodevelopmental disorders. This is an excellent opportunity for bright and motivated, career-minded professionals who are eager to gain expertise in the field.
AAPSA has an ongoing partnership with researchers from the United Kingdom to use our clinical data to research and publish on a number of topics related to neurodevelopmental disorders. Psychologists will also have the opportunity to join this active and forward-thinking research group.
Our team of psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, and behavior analysts is collaborative, supportive, and committed to providing the highest quality care to individuals throughout Upstate New York.
