This is an immersive and interactive learning experience, that lays a foundation for continued leadership and professional development. Interns do impactful work, collaborating with other interns, employees, and business leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions.
Job Profile Summary
Within the Clinical Division at Healthfirst, the Clinical Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) will assist clinical employees and other internal stakeholders in tactically obtaining or improving the essential knowledge or skills needed to perform their jobs. The CTAC will also serve as the hub for ongoing adult learning and skills acquisition which supports Healthfirst’s commitment to ensuring its teams are capable, engaged, and committed to their work.
The Summer Intern coordinates with CTAC Facilitators and other internal stakeholders to advance Healthfirst’s clinical practice through technical assistance , education, and innovation solutions by applying adult learning theory . The technical assistance solutions will ensure efficient and effective quality of care in accordance to Healthfirst standards and rules/regulations set forth by state , and federal regulatory and compliance agencies.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Clinical Training Functions
Leverages adult learning principles and clinical practice standards to move towards a culture of continuous technical assistance improvement and clinical capacity building with innovative learning solutions.
Utilizes current literature, research, and evidence-based findings in the design, implementation and evaluation of technical assistance solutions and education programs for staff learning and development
Duties will include :
Assist in creating and conducting training projects with CTAC Facilitators.
Assist with the research and development of clinical concepts.
Review quantitative and qualitative research data and translate results into meaningful insights through oral or written presentations.
C omplete E vidence B ased P ractice research project and presentation .
Develop recommendations for future Healthfirst initiatives and priorities
Present recommendations to internal stakeholders
Operational and Administrative Functions
Provide support for Engagement Specialist with operational and administrative functions.
Provide support for the Managers and other areas, as indicated .
Attend meetings as assigned.
Attend weekly meetings with mentor(s) to review assignments.
Duties will include :
Assist with the curation of clinical content for the Clinical Vine Sharepoint site.
Assist in the creation of CTAC weekly communications blasts .
Assist with data management
Assist with scheduling training .
Support with New Hire logistics .
Take minutes during meetings and distribute to CTAC leadership team.
Review survey results and calculate data metrics
Minimum Qualifications:
Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.

Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA from an accredited school

Hiring Range*:
Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000
All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
