Description:
This person will be working with leading oncology physicians at the Clinical Research site in St. Louis. This position is specifically on the thoracic disease area research team within medical oncology. They will be working with the physicians, the clinical research study teams, as well as the oncology clinic team. They will be working directly in the clinic with patients, as well as in the research office itself.
They will be screening and enrolling patients into research studies, reading and understanding study protocol, reporting SAEs (significant adverse events), checking lab values, assessing drug dosages and drug holds/modifications, shipping samples to the labs (no drawing blood), prepping laboratory kits.
They will be working on some existing trials as well as assisting with new trials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in clinical research is strongly preferred, but not required.
If they do not have experience in clinical research specifically, then they must have prior, documented work experience in a related field (ie. medical assisting, respiratory therapy, athletic training).
Candidates with a bachelors degree and a clinical research fast track certification will also be considered.
This individual must have a go-getter attitude, be highly organized, be able to handle a high-stress/fast paced workload, prioritize efficiently, have a positive personality, be a team player, roll with the punches, shift priorities quickly, be willing to ask for help.
