Job Description
Day to day:
The clinical dietitian will see a wide range of patient populations from adolescent to geriatric and will provide care from the assessment stage through care and treatment. Daily tasks include but are not limited to; assessment and management of all residents within defined periods, based on CMS regulations, attending, and participating in resident care meetings, including but limited to wound care and care plan meetings. Patients may be seen during their inpatient stay or come back to see the Dietitian for outpatient follow up.
Skills and Requirements
Must haves:
* Bachelor's degree in Foods and Nutrition related subject matter, and Dietetic Internship or equivalent training.
* Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. (CDR).
* Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.
* Competent and efficient use of computers-Northside uses Cerner.
* Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated knowledge of adult/parent (and/or children as needed) education principles.
* Good written and oral communication skills. Plusses:
* Two years of experience in clinical dietetics with broad areas of expertise.
* Master's degree in nutrition subject.
* Public speaking experience. null
