We are looking for a Clinical Customer Development Manager to support PCT (Procalcitonin) testing strategies in healthcare settings to achieve optimal patient and health economics outcomes by advancing the diagnosis of bacterial infection and antibiotic stewardship.
This role is responsible for growing PCT clinical demand at healthcare settings across the designated region through discovery, engagement of clinical and laboratory customers, education and trainings. The person in the role will develop close working relationships with laboratory diagnostics equipment providers in the IVD market, who sell the test to the laboratory.
What will you do?
Own account profiling, targeting and development of healthcare settings within designated region; Build relationships with key customers from Laboratory Leadership, C-suite and Clinical Leads, including Infectious Disease, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and Antibiotic Stewardship CommitteesWork with License Partners to coordinate activities with target accountsGain agreement from key hospital/healthcare setting decision-makers for broad test utilization, achieve hospital-wide protocol adoption and implementationAnalyze account dynamics to gain a deep understanding of customer objectives and customer clinical challenges; Use clinical insights to build and implement education strategy.Deliver education programs through 1:1 presentation and clinical sessionsCollaborate with regional Scientific Liaisons, Medical Affairs team and Marketing team to provide clinical expertise in message development for presenting clinical value of PCT assayAssures that all training, presentations, and discussions are consistent with approved product indications for useBe representative of ThermoFisher during local, regional, national, and international meetings and eventsBe accountable to an annual operating growth plan as well as individual performance related to specific activity metricsReport all activities and clinical opportunities into our Customer Relationship Management tool (SFDC).

Location: remote but preferred location Rome or Naples (as geographical perimeter will be central and south Italy)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Health, Biology or related field is requiredMBA or similar business degree preferred
Experience
5 + years Healthcare experience, with a preference of experience in diagnostic lab settings, clinical demand related, customer development or key account experienceClinical/scientific background preferredExperience in Health Economics preferredConsistent track record in cross-functional healthcare environmentBuilt positive relationships with key accounts and partners to impact business growthExperience in healthcare customer segmentation, account mappingExperience engaging and influencing decision makers from different healthcare settings such as laboratory, pharmacy, intensive care unit, emergency department and hospital administrationExperience in analysis and assessment of training and development needs for target customersExperience with conducting customer trainings
