Job Description:
The Program Manager and Enablement Specialist for Climate Risk will play a pivotal role in the GRA organization, you will be at the forefront of orchestrating and empowering initiatives aimed at mitigating climate-related risks. This role requires a blend of expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, and climate risk assessment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading multifaceted programs, fostering collaboration across departments, and ensuring that projects align with our strategic goals to support the identification, measurement, monitoring and control of climate-related risks, challenges, and opportunities.
Job Description:
In this role, you will:
•Develop, implement and manage comprehensive programs focused on climate risk mitigation and sustainability.
•Work closely with various teams including modeling, technology, and strategy to drive program alignment and success.
•Facilitate the enablement of team members through resources and support to ensure understanding and engagement with climate risk initiatives.
•Act as a liaison between internal teams, and external vendors to onboard data assets and platform capabilities to promote program objectives.
•Monitor and report on program progress, outcomes, and impact, adjusting as necessary to achieve goals.
Responsibilities:
•Support the planning and execution of complex programs related to climate risk.
•Engage and motivate diverse teams to achieve program objectives within set timelines and budgets.
•Coordinate cross-functional efforts and ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
•Conduct risk assessment, identify potential challenges, and devise mitigation strategies.
•Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement around climate initiatives.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of climate policies, regulations, and best practices.
Required Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
•5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in climate risk or related field.
•Demonstrated ability to lead and mange large-scale, cross-functional programs.
•Strong understanding of climate risk and sustainability policies and regulations.
•Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
•Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
