The Team: You will be part of the upstream client service team of S&P Global Commodities Insights. The team helps clients to navigate between sales, product management, customer IT infrastructure and their S&P Global services. We use our expertise to demonstrate the value of our products and market intelligence using integrated workflows.
The Impact: The Client Service Manager will provide support for S&P Global products, specifically Kingdom (seismic and geological interpretation software) and GeoSyn via phone, email inquiries and client-facing training sessions. This person will provide help in troubleshooting technical issues and demonstrate the value of the software in collaboration with our data and information. They will work with product management and sustaining engineers to develop processes or product enhancements to address client needs.

Responsibilities:
Proactively/reactively provide customer training via on-site visits, WebEx, phone or email to incorporate Kingdom into their workflow and drive customer satisfaction and retention.
Troubleshoot client issues to determine root cause and provide a reasonable resolution
Explain complex workflows in a straightforward and organized manner
Provide detailed information for “critical” issues to escalation teams
Submit enhancement requests on the client’s behalf if the desired functionality does not currently exist in the software.
Maintain healthy relationships with sustaining engineers, product management, and development.
What We’re Looking For:
Knowledge and Skills:
Able to work as part of a team or independently with moderate supervision
Must be articulate, patient, professional, and have strong interpersonal skills
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to quickly learn new software and interfaces
Has an expert understanding of how Energy data is collected, captured, and stored in a corporate repository
Can work within cross-functional teams, running client specific projects related to geological/geophysical data
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English are a must. Additional languages are an advantage.
Experience Required
Experience with Kingdom Suite or another geophysical interpretation software, is required.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering or equivalent technology or earth science degree or related experience.
Experience in troubleshooting technical issues
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and internet functionality. Experience using or managing databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or another relational database), Cloud, API, Map Services, BI tools is a plus.
