What part will you play?
The remote based Federal Client Renewal Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating the renewal process of federal contracts for an organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments, government agencies, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate contract renewals while maintaining compliance with regulations and requirements. The specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with government agencies and ensuring the organization's continued eligibility for federal contracts.
What will you be doing?
Contract Review and Analysis:
Review and analyze existing federal contracts, understanding key terms, conditions, and performance metrics.
Identify upcoming contract renewal deadlines and initiate the renewal process in a timely manner.
Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare and update all necessary documentation required for contract renewals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government regulations.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all contractual terms align with relevant laws and regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal departments, including sales, finance, legal, and operations, to gather required information for contract renewals.
Liaise with government agency representatives, attending meetings and addressing any queries related to the renewal process.
Negotiation and Amendments:
Engage in negotiations with government agencies, if necessary, to amend contract terms, pricing, or other details during the renewal process.
Ensure any amendments align with the organization's objectives and maintain a mutually beneficial partnership.
Renewal Submissions and Tracking:
Prepare and submit renewal proposals and documentation to the appropriate government agencies within specified deadlines.
Maintain a comprehensive tracking system to monitor the status of all pending and approved contract renewals.
Risk Assessment:
Evaluate potential risks associated with contract renewals and work with relevant teams to mitigate these risks effectively.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract renewal activities, communications, and documentation.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate regular reports detailing the status of contract renewals, potential bottlenecks, and renewal success rates.
Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the renewal process.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on federal regulations and policies that may impact contract renewals.
Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the contract renewal process.
What do we require from you?
Must be US citizen.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and make informed decisions.
Proficiency in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with connect wise or service now desirable.
1+ years of federal contracting regulations and processes experience desirable.
Security Clearance TS must be able to obtain.
Experience in government contracting, contract administration, or a similar role is highly desirable.
