The Client Relations Manager is passionate about cultivating and closing new business deals, building strong and balanced relationships with KinderCare for Employers clients. The Manager will act as the key liaison between the company and clients, providing ongoing service and strategy recommendations, assistance in developing their employee benefit solutions which include onsite employer-sponsored childcare centers and other company services, including back-up care solutions. They will establish rapport with key partners and decision makers at all levels within the organization and provide direct corporate and contractual support for all client relationships
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead all aspects of the client relationship and work to ensure client happiness. Triage issues or client concerns and resolve or advance appropriatelyPartner optimally with internal departments, clients, and leadership to ensure exceptional service and contract complianceServe as an expert and provide client consultation and recommendations on the suite of services offered by the company, including (but not limited to) employer-sponsored onsite childcare, back-up care options, discount programs, and needs assessment servicesMaintain a high level of activity to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual Key Performance Indicators are met while building and maintaining positive relationships and credibility with corporate partnersPerform financial and accounting review in partnership with accounting team- review includes budgeting and invoicing as well as periodic review of center P&Ls and client reportingSupport training activities and continuous improvement opportunitiesCultivate and leverage an expansive network of relationships with key clients and other external partners while independently managing the sales cycle from prospecting through successful deal management and closeOptimally identify, plan and complete territory tradeshows, conferences and events while maintaining accurate data and forecast management within the company's Customer Relations Management systemConduct effective onsite and/or web-based presentations while ensuring that outcome of visits to site locations are tracked appropriately
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with seven years of direct experience selling educational technology, solutions, or servicesProven success in cultivating large ticket sales (i.e. $50K+)Experience managing business to business client relationships; with ability to travel up to 50% of the timeExceptional experience up-selling and cross-selling solutions to existing clients and capable of delivering a service or solution (vs. product)Solid command of major account sales methodologies (i.e. strategic/consultative, multi-year partnerships)Knowledge of child care industry or related experience a plusProficiency at handling difficult client consultations and human relations issues with integrity and respectExcellent communication skills in balance with strong organizational and time-management skills requiredProficiency with a desktop computer and the ability to quickly learn software required. Solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
