About Client Partner Engineering Services Energy Oil and Gas

  The Capgemini Engineering Services Client Partner is responsible for researching and pursuing current clients and new business leads for the growth of the business. The role involves active coordination across teams and demands exceptional inter-personal skills. The Client Executive is expected to work on business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of an organization’s strategy, products, and services. This role is bringing company’s engineering services value to major Energy Oil and Gas customers within the US. This role is based in Houston, TX and will require travel up to 40%.

  What you’ll do:

  The Client Partner will be responsible for

  Leading existing relationships and driving new Engineering Services booking into existing and new logos for Energy sector (Oil & Gas).

  Driving engineering solutions directly with clients, in coordination with subject matter authorities and other solution owners in the company.

  Bringing company’s engineering services value to major Energy (Oil & Gas) customers in US.

  Operating with little supervision in sophisticated environments, taking responsibility for a substantial aspect of Capgemini activity, and handling last minute changes calmly & expertly.

  Present, promote and sell Solutions/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers. Required experience selling into customers at their VP and C-Suite levels responsible for professional services and engineering.

  Lead Generation, Qualifying, Negotiating and Closing opportunities for client with the objective of driving profitable growth.

  Researching, mapping, establishing, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with prospects and client team members.

  Understanding and discussing Sales plans with other Sales Leaders to agree on potential major opportunities in their own focus areas (sector, offers).

  Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.

  Managing client relationship independently or with support from Client Leader; Listening to the client and working jointly to identify the client’s biggest engineering challenges, preferences and purchasing triggers.

  Structuring and shaping deals for Value, leveraging, and providing input on offerings, services, capabilities.

  Responsible for revenue, order booking and P&L of the client business with and objective of growing the business.

  Developing repeat business by understanding client context, upselling and cross-selling; Developing Business Case and ROI; Providing strategic inputs to shape the client value proposition and creating winning pitches.

  Closely monitoring client engagement levels, conducting periodic business reviews and undertaking measures to gain traction with the client.

  Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.

  What you’ll have

  Requirements:

  10 years of Sales experience selling engineering, design and consulting services.

  Required selling/working experience into/with Energy customers (organizations like ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, Baker Hughes, SLB etc.) for professional services and engineering deployments.

  Strong background in solution selling – Product Engineering, Software Engineering, Digital Engineering, Manufacturing and Design and ability to sell creative, complex business models to the client.

  Won and led deals of $5-10million independently in Engineering services and solution sales.

  Track record of deep, consultative, trust based relationships and strong knowledge, understanding of client’s business with strong client references.

  Proven ability to build senior-level client relationships within Energy, Oil and Gas Domain.

  Develop sales plan for the assigned geography and individual Account Plans.

  Identification, mobilization, and management of internal and external stakeholders for achieving revenues.

  Understands and executes company strategy (financials, offerings, segments, target accounts.)

  Strong understanding of financials, profitability, and cash flow.

  Focused on value selling and high-value models of selling.

  Engineering Degree Required.
