Job Description
The Intel Movidius Neural Compute Hardware Engineering team is looking for a Research AI Scientist to work on VPU architecture, design, analysis, and optimizations activities. In this position, you will function as a member of the Advanced Architecture team and you will impact and influence the Artificial Intelligence product roadmap and development based on profound comprehension of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning algorithms, Deep Learning customer requirements and Deep Learning software frameworks.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Develop Augmented Intelligence - AI + domain expertise - based solutions to drive holistic design optimization decisions during architecture and design phases of client products.
Perform research to advance the state of the art and solve specific problems at scale in one or more of the following areas: Machine Learning/Deep Learning.
Work closely with a diverse, interdisciplinary team on a specific project to be completed during the internship.
Publish key innovative ideas and results in top tier conferences and Journals.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Minimum Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a master's or a PhD Degree in Computer science, Electrical Engineering, or any STEM related field and 1+ years of experience or knowledge in AI and deep models, algorithms and hardware accelrators.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
