DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis is a highly responsible position that provides direct support to the supervisor and the Juvenile Court Services Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing the day-to-day operations of the office. You will perform administrative duties including answering the phone and transferring calls; scheduling meetings and taking minutes; preparing agency purchase requests; preparing reports; drafting letters and memorandums; and maintaining a functional filing system.
This position involves discretion and diplomacy in dealing with the public and various federal, state, and local government offices. You will work with a great deal of confidentiality, as the work deals with, but is not limited to, sensitive material relating to facilities, youth and families.
