BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Mid-Level Linux Developer for Tactical Control Systems, you’ll be a member a cross functional team responsible for upgrading maintaining submarine combat system operating system architecture to support our continued commitment of providing the US and Royal Australian Navies the highest quality software.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: BS in Computer Science or similar discipline +4 years' experience developing in a Linux environment, advanced level bash and Python scripting, experience working in an Agile development environment, experience working on or developing virtual machines and/or working within Kubernetes.

• Must have advanced level bash and Python scripting experience
• Strong Red Hat Linux or CentOS Administration expereince with a working knowledge of systems
• Experience with OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration/PaaS/Cloud technologies
• Implementation and troubleshooting experience with various virtualization technologies and tools such as KVM
• Must have solid technical communication skills and organizational skills

• Ability to develop solution options with minimal supervision
