Overview
Safely operate tractor trailer to deliver materials in a timely manner while ensuring customer satisfaction. These positions are local routes and home every night.
Qualifications
Requires Class A CDL with a minimum of 1 year driving experience.
Ability to independently solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
Physical ability to regularly work in various climates and weather conditions, frequently bend, kneel, reach, climb, balance, use hands and fingers to operate objects, tools or controls, sit for long durations, utilize hearing for surrounding obstacles, danger areas, and equipment malfunctions, climb up and down ladders multiple times per shift, and lift 50-100 pounds as needed.
Responsibilities
Inspect assigned equipment for DOT violations and unsafe issues; correct all deficiencies before operating and proceeding with loading.
Safely load and deliver product. Properly seal trailer if required.
Address customer questions or connect customer with appropriate company representative.
Safely operate tractor and trailer up to 70 hours per week in compliance with Federal Motor Carriers Administration standards.
Understand and observe all company safety rules and DOT requirements and use proper PPE.
