Job Summary
The Claims Associate primarily handles administrative tasks and assisting claims adjusters with day-to-day tasks in claims management, payments, and reimbursements.
Responsibilities
Receive daily mail for assigned accounts and open and scan mail to appropriate team member or department. Prepare and process payments received via manual checks in claims system. Route payment information to Accounting department. Process Social Security and Disability reimbursements for remittance to assigned accounts. Answers phone calls and transfer to appropriate team member or department. Assists Claims Adjuster with their processing duties. Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Skills and abilities
Microsoft Office Suite Customer Service Orientation Experience with Agency Management System (IVOS etc.) Ability to speak and write professionally Qualifications
High School Diploma Required
