Starting salary is $62,041.85 - $ 79,230.63 annually, $30.79 - $39.32/hourly. Because work-life-balance is a priority at State Farm, compensation is based on our standard 38:45-hour work week! Salary offered is dependent on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience.

This is a hybrid position which allows you to spend some of your time working from home as well as some time working collaboratively in-office. During the job training period you may have a higher percentage of time spent in-office to support your learning experience.

Responsibilities
Our Claims Specialists are committed to helping our customers through the claims process while providing Remarkable® service. This includes:
Investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and settling claims Applying knowledge of policies, and insurance regulations when determining coverage, liability, & damagesContacting customers by telephone, written correspondence and/or various electronic mediaEffectively managing work through task driven queues while multi-tasking in a fast-paced call center environment Supporting our customers through personalized, caring, and simple interactionsQualifications

Bachelor's Degree PreferredClaim handling experience, preferably PIP/MPC (first party medical) or third party injury claimsBodily injury and property damage liability claims, as well as uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage claims
Hours of operation are continually evaluated and may change based on business need. Successful candidates are able and willing to work flexible work shifts and may be asked to work overtime and/or irregular hours.
Employees must successfully complete all required training, including applicable licensing exam(s) and background checks required of various state(s).
All employees in support and professional roles selected for a Claims position will have a time in role commitment (6 months for promotions, 12 months for lateral) beginning on the effective date of transfer which must be met by the end of the posting period for any other State Farm positions. Exceptions to the time in role commitment period may be considered on an individual basis, consistent with business needs and management approval.
