　　Diageo's Yunnan Distillery

　　To further grow China's scotch tourism industry, in November 2021, we announced to invest in the build of a US$75 million malt whisky distillery in Yunnan Province in China. Located in Eryuan County in Yunnan (云南省大理州洱源县), the Diageo Eryuan Malt Whisky Distillery will produce Diageo’s first China-origin, premium malt whisky. At more than 2,100m above sea level, the 66,000 square meter distillery will also feature an immersive and interactive visitor experience center that will attract whisky enthusiasts and boost the local cultural tourism industry.

　　Purpose of the role

　　This role is to provide civil, structure and architecture (CSA) technical expertise to Capex projects (maturation warehouse expansions, bottling and packaging facilities/building) for Dali distillery.

　　This role will work closely together with Dali project manager to deliver construction scope of ongoing and future phases.

　　Develop/define technical scope of design and execution for all maturation warehouses and packaging building constructionBeing responsible for the human safety and Q&FS and environment implemented into technical solutions during construction and execution of the projectEnsuring compliance to global technical standards and legal requirement during execution of the projectsEstablishing and maintaining ethical and good relationships with suppliers

　　Key Accountabilities:

　　Define CSA technical scope and solutions of the project

　　Work with design institute on design scopeProvide governance on CSA designDevelop technical solutions with design institute, vendors and Diageo internal expertiseEnsure design compliant to all national standards and Diageo global standards

　　Deliver the projects with excellent execution

　　Execute Capital Projects related to CSA within budget and on timeWork closely with general contractors o ensure high quality delivery of building construction.Be responsible for developing technical solutions adhere to Engineering Standards, national regulations/codes and Best PracticesBe responsible for ensuring Safety and Quality and Food Safety during project executionEnsure smooth handover of buildings to operation, provide guidance and training to operation team on maintenance of buildingsLiaison with local government authorities for all necessary construction permitting and government acceptance processes

　　Entry level requirements :

　　Preferably holds a bachelor degree in Engineering with technical background (Civil engineering)Proven experience managing and delivering civil and construction projectsStrong project management skillsSupplier/Contractor relationship managementGreat communication skills to engage different functions
