We have moved our local operations to a new state-of-the-art campus in Austin, Texas in the summer of 2022 and we are seeking a motivated and versatile Manufacturing Manager to join the leadership team and be the main focal point driving our Circuit Card Assembly Factory of Excellence. As a feeder factory that supports multiple sites and business, we are seeking a dynamic communicator that has the ability to manage and nurture these relationships. The Circuit Card Assembly Factory Manager will end up with a team of roughly 100 manufacturing and test professionals across 1 st , 2 nd , and weekend shift along with direct leadership of the supervisory team. The candidate will work with a peer group in Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Program Management to deliver on commitments, ultimately responsible for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Responsibilities may shift with business needs, and you will make impacts in the following ways;
Drives the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations
Utilizes capacity analysis to establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing.
Develops operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.
Maintains safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel.
Utilize all the tools available to drive a Zero Defect culture throughout the team (Root Cause Corrective Action, Corrective Action Review Board, Kaizen Events and Projects for Green and Black Belts).
Participates in technology roadmaps and implementation of new equipment and processes.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site.
This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BS in Business Administration, or Engineering, or equivalent 10 years of working experience.
Familiarity with Circuit Card manufacturing processes
Ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers
Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and DoD manufacturing and test standards.
Strong diplomatic, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to execute and deliver on tactical objectives
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Master s Degree and Circuit Card manufacturing experience
Self-motivated, independent, and capable of leading a medium sized technical and manufacturing team.
Preferred eligible for a DOD security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $124200 - $211100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
