Job Description
An employer is seeking a Chief of Staff in the Buckhead, Atlanta area. Responsibilities include:
The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in supporting our Chief Executive Officer in a variety of capacities including high-level administrative, operational and project management support. This role, which will span all aspects of the business, will require exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a keen ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This is a highly visible position reporting directly to the CEO with frequent interaction with other members of the executive team and Board.
Note that this role is 100% on-site in our Atlanta (Buckhead) office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Management and strategic support:
Assist in the execution of key strategic projects, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Take the lead on specific projects, as assigned by the CEO, overseeing project timelines, teams and deliverables.
Research industry trends, market insights, and competitive intelligence to support decision-making.
2. Executive Support:
Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule, and appointments, ensuring optimal time management.
Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for executive and Board meetings.
Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Arrange travel logistics, accommodations, and itineraries for the CEO.
Plan and organize company events, conferences, and meetings.
3. Human Resources Support:
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
Maintain and update employee records, including payroll and employment information.
4. Data Analysis:
Collect, analyze, and report on relevant data to support decision-making and performance assessment.
Present data-driven insights and recommendations to the CEO.
Skills and Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree is preferred.
Executive administrative or strategic support experience and/or project management experience is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentiality with discretion and without compromise.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Executive presence.
