We're looking for a Chief Data Officer for the Bank USA to lead the next phase of our efforts to ensure consistently high data quality and data standards strategically via modern data architecture. In this role, you would:
• Helps to guide the future direction of data strategy and processes, including data sources, database design and structure, and data integrity and tools
• Transform data and information into insights that inform both high-level strategy and tactical decision-making in support of profitability objectives
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure information needs are formalized and understood
• Implementing formal data governance approach and increasing the maturity of the enterprise data capability and environment

Your team
Wealth Management Americas Banking - Data Governance and Regulatory Reporting drives the end-to-end development of WMA Banking data and infrastructure, regulatory reporting and overall data management.
Your expertise
• Minimum of 15 years of experience as a data engineer, data modeler, or analyst, preferably in the financial services and banking industries
• Strategic mindset with demonstrated experience in implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement
• Strong knowledge of products, processes, and functions in financial services and banking industries
• Expert communication skills and ability to influence leadership
• Ability to coach, guide, manage, and mentor team
• Effective teamwork skills in order to collaborate and build strong relationships with co-workers and clients to support driving business solutions
• Record of solving analytical problems creatively, with clear outcomes and a sense of accountability
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles
• Experience with third-party data management preferred
• Project management skills: plans, organizes, motivates, and controls resources to achieve project objectives while accounting for constraints
• Decision making skills: objectively considers input from appropriate sources; Considers implications of actions on other areas, functions, and processes during decision making
• Agility: adapts approaches that are appropriate for each situation
• Expert SQL and strong proficiency in Python and R
• Masters or bachelor's degree a quantitative field such as Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Economics, or Statistics
