Overview
Waters is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position Chemistry Account Manager located in the Montreal & Quebec City area. The Chemistry Account Manager is responsible for selling Waters LC/SFC Column Technologies, Sample Preparation Products and Consumables Products within their assigned geographic territory. In this role, the Chemistry Account Manager will develop a business plan to lead the consumables business and expand market share within the sales territory. Responsibilities will include delivering technical presentations and taking part in workshops and demonstrations to sell chemistry consumables products into a wide variety of markets, such as life science, pharmaceutical, food and environmental, clinical and chemical/materials.
Customers will include research laboratories, government laboratories, universities and larger key accounts.
Responsibilities Meet or exceed sales targets Maintain installed base customer happiness Passionately develop new prospects and penetrate driven accounts Visit customers daily to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with their challenges Coordinate and deliver seminars and workshops/demonstrations at customer accounts and regional events Lead consumables business at accounts and expand business within the territory Develop and implement a business plan to optimally expand business within accounts and gain new business through conversion of take-share opportunities Work with Waters matrix organization on strategic planning to grow the consumable's business within our customer base Qualifications Bachelors Degree or advanced degree in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistry At least 3 years of chromatography experience. UPLC, Mass Spec, field sales, service and/or marketing is a plus Action orientated and dedicated for results Good communication and presentation skills Good organization/planning/time management skills Strong listening skills and a good listener Mature disposition, positive demeanour and strong sense of dedication Adaptive to dynamic and changing environment Strong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MS Bilingual with above average written and oral skills in French and English #LI-Remote
