Channel Strategy Manager, Metaworks NPI Responsibilities:
Support the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative Facebook smart display products from product definition and planning through production, release and end of life.
Provide hands-on program management during the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-implementation phases of the go-to-market and category management projects assigned.
Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product sales and in-market execution.
Develop and partner with stakeholders on the strategy for launching and sustaining AR/VR and smart display products and services across channels (retail, first party webstore and enterprise).
Partner with product management, product marketing managers, sales account managers, operations, finance and cross-functional expertise groups related to the category, connecting and coordinating launches.
Understand Facebook’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry.
Support the product roadmap with iterative improvements, justifiable ideas to enhance existing functionality, and introduce new features.
Partner with sales and demand planners to provide forecasting and revenue reporting for the category business.
Measure and optimize program results and provide weekly insights from business metrics.
Track the success of the category business by evaluating key indicators such as revenue, GM, seasonality, trends, and share goals.
Maintain a strong knowledge and awareness of the category industry and competitive trends.
Use understanding of channel environment, consumer, and overall marketplace dynamics impacting the AR/VR category to drive agreement on key channel objectives and strategies for the category and products with product marketing managers, channel account teams, and regions.
Develop a close working relationship with the channel sales managers, channel marketing managers, product managers, operations teams and industry partners where appropriate.
Be the product expert for key initiatives and respective products in the channel and evangelize key takeaways with the product groups, account managers and externally with accounts.
Communicate key issues and opportunities to product groups to influence overall platform strategy, pricing, packaging and product decisions in the category.

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Marketing, Business, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a business, product, or program management-related occupation. Experience must include 36 months of experience in each of the following:

$254,418/year to $291,060/year + bonus + equity + benefits
