Job Summary/Objective:
The Channel Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and carrying out the day-to-day activities associated with integrated marketing activities to drive sales and brand awareness in a specified distribution channel. This position requires cross-functional leadership between internal and external business groups, including distributor customers and end users, for integrated marketing programs including product marketing, digital marketing, sales, as well as outside vendors, to ensure a desired outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with stakeholders to execute key initiatives within channel marketing strategy. (30%)
• Coordinate with product, sales, and marketing teams for successful campaigns (line reviews, promotions, advertising, programs). (20%)
• Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality and timeliness of marketing collateral. (10%)
• Contribute key stakeholder and customer insights to long term strategy and annual planning process. (10%)
• Build and maintain channel expertise through field travel and tradeshows, competitive analysis, and close collaboration with stakeholders. (10%)
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, aligning to their key growth opportunities. (10%)
• Acts as a key contributor within Southwire’s cross functional teams. (5%)
• Builds knowledge of Southwire’s brands, serving as an advisor within the business. (5%)
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree required.
1-3 years' experience in Marketing or Communications required.
Strong written communication skills for the development of email content, and sales support information.
Must be able to perform with a high degree of accuracy and manage multiple tasks, with tight deadlines.
Strong software skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
Willingness to travel up to 25%
