SUMMARY:
This role offers the opportunity for an experienced Change Management Lead to have a major impact on an existing stream of digitalization and innovation efforts at AAR, an established world leader in the aviation maintenance and repair market. A Change Management program designer and broad thinker with the ability to also drill down into the details is needed to lead AAR into its digital future. Own the change related aspects of a large-scale technology transformation and application development program for our MRO business as well as other innovation efforts throughout the many business units of this global service provider to both the commercial and government markets. This leader should love the challenge and be excited by the opportunity to develop a high visibility CM program from the ground up alongside a very productive team generating digital change with aviation industry altering impact.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Top Areas of Focus:
*Relationship Building/Management: * Build and leverage key relationships across the operations/business team, various app end user groups, program stakeholders. Coach managers, supervisors, and key influencers to improve implementation communication.
*Project / Program Management: * Design, build, lead and Will own all the or lead key elements of a multi-year, multi-million dollar technology change initiative.
End User Engagement: Ensure business user / app user engagement throughout the design and development cycles. Manage a complex cross section of participants from across the technology and business teams.
*Transformation: * Develop, communicate, and implement a vision for transformation outcomes. Help people understand and adopt new technologies and workflows.
Training and Support: Develop and deliver product and training content. Help establish and manage the end user support program for a set of business applications. Consult with staff members to identify and manage anticipated resistance.
Measuring and Reporting: Tracking implementation progress and reporting back to management from the C-suite to the floor of the hangars and every level in between.
Strategy: Prepare change management strategies to reduce expenses, increase revenue, and maximize efficiency. Create communication and training plans to enable smooth implementation of the strategy.
*Role Details/Duties: *
Manage the business user, customer, and regulatory engagement aspects of the overall program plan
Uncover and understand customer needs and translate them into requirements
Assess and establish mitigation plans for key risks and assumptions as part of a larger program plan
Use Domo/analytics tools to analyze performance indicators, evaluate experiments, etc.
Participate in the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
Skills/Characteristics:
Empathy for business users and a keen ability to understand before/after states of large-scale transformation and how to build a bridge between them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfort with presentations to large and small audiences, both in-person and online.
Ability to develop and deliver training content and other communications related to enterprise applications
Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and fluid prioritization
Ability to contribute ideas to overall expansion of AAR Digital products, services, and approach to the marketplace
Familiarity and comfort with industrial, highly regulated, highly complex work environments (and an appropriate eye for detail to be successful in that context)

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in a related field (process improvement, project management, LEAN, etc.)
3 years working as part of a technology team in an enterprise context, aviation/aerospace preferred
Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities
Experience with MRP or ERP systems required
Participation in major ERP migration(s) or transformation a plus
