We are looking for a talented Change Management Lead join our team specializing in ENGINEERING for our BUSINESS SEGMENT, in Mineral Point, WI .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Coordinates and manages the product requirements and product change management processes in order to ensure that specification documents (e.g. drawing, structure, standards and software) are clear, concise and valid across the organization. Works under minimal supervision. Conducts audits of product specification documents (e.g. drawing, structure, standards and software) and ensures adherence to Product Release standards. Provides information and education (as necessary) to stakeholders regarding standards and rules for documenting Cummins product specifications, including engineering, marketing, services and manufacturing processes. Identifies internal stakeholders to solve queries and ensures compliance with product requirements. Develops and implements practices and work instructions for the product requirements and change management processes. Leads and/or participates in basic and/or complex improvement projects linked to the product requirements and related change management processes. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Manages ambiguity - Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear. Data Reporting - Prepares documentation in a manner which clearly organizes and presents testing methods, instrument settings, the data and analysis to allow the engineer and customer to understand the results and form accurate conclusions and recommendations.. Data Acquisition - Prepares samples, verifies equipment calibration and performs tests according to an approved standard procedure or work instruction in a manner which ensures, and results in, data that can be trusted and delivered to the engineer or customer. Product Configuration and Change Management - Establishes a baseline of identified product artifacts to be placed under configuration management; releases, tracks, controls and communicates changes from concept to obsolescence often through work requests; establishes and maintains the integrity of the product artifact baselines. High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience is required
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in documentation and control, engineering discipline or related field. Will handle all Engineering releases up to and including, MCR's (Manufacturing Change Requests), CN (Change Notices), Print Control / Print Deviations. Monitor and communicate KPI's on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Will lead MCR status meetings to ensure completion of MCR's are completed as scheduled. Must have advanced level with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Must be familiar will all Microsoft Office Programs. Will work on Document Management (Share Point), CQMS, Oracle, Windchill, OBIEE (Cummins Enterprise Business Intelligence Applications. Will participate as an active internal auditor which will include in getting certified in IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 & 6.5. Must be process orientated and how other departments / functions affect others. Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles and have the ability to become Yellow Belt Certified. Any other tasks that may be assigned by your Manager. Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
