DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Certified Peer Specialist, you will serve as a role model for recovery for staff and patients. As a team member, you will contribute in a peer support capacity to facilitate recovery and enhance wellness. In both individual and group settings, you will collaborate with consumers to help identify the services and supports needed for recovery. As Certified Peer Specialist, it is imperative to possess knowledge of mental health services and accessibility requirements and stay abreast of social, educational, and recreational services and activities available in the community.
