  The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is one of the 12 regional Reserve Banks that, together with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System. It helps formulate and implement monetary policy, supervises banks and bank and savings and loan holding companies, and provides financial services to depository institutions and the federal government. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia serves eastern and central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, and Delaware.

  The Regional Banking Organization (RBO) Central Point of Contact (CPC) leads supervisory activities relating to the supervised organization. Firms in the RBO portfolio generally have an asset size between $10 billion and $100 billion. The CPC develops the supervisory plan, leads supervisory activities, and maintains an understanding of the assigned supervisory firm's business strategies and risk management practices.

  What You Will Do:

  Develop and implement a risk-focused supervisory plan.Identify and communicate firm-specific supervisory risks and issues.Conduct effective risk prioritization, identification of resource requirements, and ensure that supervisory products convey an accurate view of the organizational issues.Communicate with peers and senior SRC leaders. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with FR System management and other regulatory stakeholders (e.g., Board of Governors, other agencies, etc.) to ensure communication of key risks and appropriate supervisory response.Establish and maintain strong lines of communication with the supervised entity's board of directors and executive management team.Maintain knowledge of the firm's financial condition; risk management practices; management structure; strategic plan and operations; emerging risks and trends; banking and economic conditions; and ongoing developments.

  What You Have:

  Education and Experience:

  Bachelor's degree is required; a major in business, economics, finance, accounting, law or a related field is preferred.A minimum of eight years of direct or comparable banking, financial or other industry, or banking supervision experience.Commissioned by the Board of Governors (BOG), possesses a commission from a federal banking supervision agency, or agreement to pursue a commissioning preferred.

  Possesses and applies both specific and broad-based knowledge including principles, practices and procedures of the field of specialization toward completing assignments.Demonstrates an advanced understanding of supervision processes as well as banking processes and products.Understands the full interplay of a financial organizations various operations and associated risk and assesses the quality of risk management systems from an enterprise-wide perspective.

  Supervisory Event / Project Management

  Organizes and manages work in such a way that an assignment or supervisory event is completed well and within the defined scope and time constraints, demonstrating the ability to effectively lead a team.Develops supervisory event/project plans, timelines and milestones for complex supervisory events/projects and acts to ensure plan goals are achieved.Assigns work and tasks to supervisory event/project team and coordinates completion of supervisory event/project deliverables.

  Analytical

  Demonstrates advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, independent and critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.Recognizes symptoms that may indicate more significant problems or issues.

  Communication

  Exhibits strong written and oral communication skills.Presents both orally and in written form findings and assessments concerning complex supervisory matters and/or financial organizations; nontraditional financial organizations to internal and external stakeholders.Assists others in their communication to achieve a consistent message, tone, style and format, as applicable.Demonstrates ability to discuss complex issues with all stakeholders.Actively engages in transferring technical knowledge.

  Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, enter data, and verify data at the Personal Computer (PC) for extended periods of time.

  Other Requirements:

  Applicants must be able to provide work authorization to prove their eligibility to work in the United States. An applicant for employment also must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, or hold a permanent resident/green card with intent to become a U.S. Citizen.Some travel is required.Valid driver's license required.

  The salary grade for this position is: 16/17.
