Job Description Summary
Own all aspects of daily operations and management of the Stator Bar manufacturing cell. Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost of a large production line shop as part of the larger Generator manufacturing operations within the factory. Will provide direction and leadership to own team of operations leaders, manufacturing engineers, and planners, with indirect leadership of Materials and Quality teams within the cell. Cell employs over 160hourly individuals in the fabrication of generator components on several Lean Lines. Leadership of this shop will employ various Lean Strategies and Initiatives as well as leverage technical skills in product development and improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manage a manufacturing cell in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees and hourly employees.Responsible for direct team development and growth through hiring, priority setting, and regular performance reviews.Function within larger Gas Power business to provide product for both New Build product as well as support repairs and site services for shipping stator bar sets.Drive Continuous Improvement and a larger Lean initiative within the cell and throughout the site. Leverage and champion Lean across entire team and shops to propose and implement significant process and production changes.Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketUses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeMinimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.

The salary range for this position is $117,500.00 - $130,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
This position is also eligible for 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
