Position Summary
The responsibilities of the Cash Reconciliation Coordinator are to perform support functions for the cash applications department.
These responsibilities include but are not limited to Coordinating work among small groups of team members, working with colleagues in various areas of the organization to ensure funds are assigned to the proper GL account and taking the proper steps to transfer funds Ensuring the AR deposit management systems balance with the deposits received through the bank and GL transfers Tracking information for items that cannot yet be posted. Ensure remittance advices are obtained and provided to cash posters for posting, pull remits from various websites and match the documentation with payments received, and contact payors when expected information is not available or is not in the correct format. Review and respond to cash research requests, take the necessary steps to ensure payments are posted accurately and make any corrections when necessary. Provide requested reporting to management/AR teams to assist in identifying unapplied cash and posted cash. Assist colleagues with understanding appropriate cash applications procedures. Cash Reconciliation and Deposit Management. Reviewing 835/Electronic Remittance Advice and ensuring deposits are matched with the corresponding ERA. Submitting and researching Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT)/Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) processes. 835 File Matching. Required Qualifications 1+ year(s) of payer experience preferred (calling payers, contacting payers, or setting up payers) Must have Healthcare Specialty Pharmacy, Pharmacy, Healthcare Accounting, or Banking industry experience.Preferred Qualifications Cash Reconciliation and Deposit Management experience Processing credit card and electronic check transactions Experience with EFTs and ERAsExperience with AvailityAttention to detail and multitasking.Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required. The typical pay range for this role is:
$17.00 - $27.90
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
