Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
Assist individuals we serve to redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
You’ll assist individuals in a group home setting with their daily living needs such as personal hygiene, communication, and mobility as well as behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Competitive Pay: $17 per hour and annual rate increases

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; DSP 1 and DSP 2 certifications highly desired
Experience: Six months of experience in direct care of individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral, mental health issues
Skills: Behavioral de-escalation, knowledge of client rights and advocacy, strong communication skills
Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
Vehicle: Valid CA Driver's license
*Experience as a behavioral technician, with ABA theory, behavioral intervention, and other experience working with individuals with behaviors is highly desired!
