You will be responsible for the Hearst campaign delivery strategy and execution. This includes email marketing activity across subscriptions, memberships, and Hearst products & services, to increase customer engagement, retention and support overall customer net growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the build and execution of marketing comms via our ESP, including triggered campaigns across welcome, in-life, renewal and save touch points. Continually test, measure, and optimize new approaches to email personalisation and automation to maximize customer engagement and conversion. Gain a deep understanding of the customer database to drive personalisation and customer segmentation strategies, with the aim to foster stronger customer relationships. Analyse customer data from campaigns to identify trends, insights, and customer engagement levels. Build, maintain, and optimise the email campaign performance Looker dashboards. Work with the engineering team to oversee all campaign performance data transfers between our ESP and data lake, troubleshooting any issues and ensuring accuracy and consistency of data. Implement the customer retention and engagement plan, to support overall customer subscriber net growth. Support our brand diversification initiatives by delivering email campaigns for memberships, beauty boxes, marketplaces, events, and licensed products. Manage the Campaign Delivery Executives, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction. Responsible for liaising with stakeholders across the business to plan campaigns, data selections and keep the Hearst email schedule up to date. Support the editors with the development of the brand newsletters and the commercial team with any paid partnerships. Manage the communications cadence plan in the ESP to adhere to our email frequency caps. Oversee the dynamic email and newsletter content to personalise comms by customer segment. Conduct ongoing research into current industry trends to understand emerging technologies and techniques in email personalisation and automation. Keep up to date on marketing and email best practice and share learnings with the team. To be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values. Experience in CRM or a similar data-driven role, preferably in the media industry or a consumer-focused environment. Proficiency in using CRM software and marketing automation tools. Experience in advanced customer segmentation techniques and targeted marketing approaches. HTML and CSS experience SQL skills and experience querying databases is desirable, with a willingness to learn. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse customer data, metrics, and trends. Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a team and across departments. Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a customer-centric approach. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude. Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.WHAT WE OFFER
