Job Description
Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking Food Service Workers to join our team.
Eight-hour workday between the starting hours of 6AM and end by 5PM.
No specific education or experience is required. A successful candidate must complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. They should also have excellent communication skills to communicate with staff members throughout their shift.
The mission of Woodward Resource Center is to prepare and support individuals to live in the community of their choice. Discharge planning begins at admission.
As part of the WRC team:
Prepare, modify textures, portion, label, serve, deliver, and pick up food and supplies. Set up and tear down work areas and service areas. Work a variety of positions, completing specific tasks assigned for each position. Maintain safety and sanitation standards through proper food handling.
Operate a variety of commercial food service equipment including dish machines, pot and pan machine, food processors, blenders, steam tables, can openers, scales, garbage disposals, mixers, and a variety of cooking equipment.
Complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning assignments, including trash removal, dish washing, general sanitation, sweeping and mopping.
Train and direct the work of assigned people, which includes co-workers, individuals living at the Woodward Resource Center, and students of Woodward Academy.
Successfully complete assigned training. Complete other duties as assigned.
