Overview
This position provides consultative technical expertise for the Regulatory Reporting Technology Team within the Bank. Directs all aspects of requirements gathering for system enhancements and projects, including oversight and guidance of large cross-functional or enterprise-wide initiatives. Supports Reg Reporting business at the highest level of operational complexity and acts as an advisor on banking processes, systems, and analytics. Champions best practices through personal leadership and improvements to policies, procedures, and structures. Mentors and directs less experienced associates in the work group on the completion of daily activities.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and reviews data from processes, systems, and stakeholders. Conducts complex analysis to determine business impacts and opportunities to increase efficiencies.Identifying Business Requirements - Develops methods to test, gather, and track business requirements. Ensures systems and processes comply with all applicable regulations.Operational Support - Works across all levels of the Bank, including senior and executive management. Coordinates analyst duties across multiple teams on cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives. Recommends and implements system enhancements, ensuring that developed solutions appropriately address business needs.Consultation - Offers consultative guidance to business leaders, associates, and senior management, acting as a resource on business systems and needs. Utilizes expertise to provide mentoring, feedback, and direction on complex matters. Leads process improvements and technical modifications to ensure success.Technical Leadership: Hands on as well as lead other junior business analysts to perform the following:
Create Functional requirement documents based on the requirements gathered from the business users and other documentation such as Technical Specification Documents, Data Flow Diagrams and Source to Target Data Mapping documents required for the impacted service delivery.Perform data analysis, data validation and data quality checks on the key data attributes. Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis for data discrepancies and gaps.Identifying data quality and integrity issues and provide resolution recommendations after performing in depth analysis of the issues.Coordinate AxiomSL form updates/patch installations, bug fixes and enhancements in line with the regulatory requirements.Actively coordinate the day-to-day Application Defect Management Process pertaining to defect identification, review, prioritization, assignment and fix re-test.The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $115,109 to $199,521 per year.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Information Technology OR High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Information Technology
Skill(s):Regulatory reporting knowledge (CCAR/US Regulatory reporting)Experience in AxiomSL Controller View, SQL Experience working in IT domain with IT Systems Analysis and Application ManagementBanking domain knowledge.MS Office SuiteBroad knowledge of a bank's internal systems, networks, operating systems, interfaces and processes
