Business Systems Analyst/Tester
Position Description
CGI Federal is searching for Business Analysts to join one of our foundation business solutions teams supporting a classified customer. On this program, we are undertaking an aggressive DevOps transformation which builds on the success of our IP based services where you can work with our members and learn as you make an immediate impact on our application systems. The work we do makes a difference in our client's mission and National Security.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Future Duties:
• Provides business, strategic, or analytical expertise in support of project.
• Provides an understanding of the client's objectives typical core processes.
• Offers knowledge, experience, and insight in a particular area, or domain.
• Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and understanding of business systems.
• Analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and provides consultation on projects and participates in requirements analyses, data gathering, interviews, and facilitated sessions.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong understanding of DoD PPBE financial terms and processes, preferably USAF terms and processes
• Full understanding of the SoftwareSystem Development Life Cycle
• Experience analyzing and documenting IT system requirements, conducting functional analysis, writing and executing tests.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries.
• Take initiative to learn new tools, subjects and technologies in order to maximize value to the team and customer
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software development life-cycle.
• Understand the impact of Momentum system settings and know how to configure a system to mimic the operational environment
• Function as a self-starter; complete assignments with minimal oversight, seek help when needed, and do your part to complete the project as efficiently as possible
• Have strong oral and written communications skills
• Follow managers' priorities and guidance and submit updates to software development support tools fully and on time
Desired:
• Experience using or supporting Momentum Financial Management software
• Financial or accounting degree
• 3+ years of experience using or supporting testing of federal or DoD financial systems
• Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects tool suite
• Knowledge of Momentum Financials
• Familiarity with report design tools

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $63,470 - $110,990.
