The Business Systems Analyst II is accountable for completing advanced systems development, quality assurance, and day to day operational tasks in support of ongoing benefits administration delivery, both internally and externally to clients within their portfolio of clients/ aligned pod. They ensure that all work delivered to the client is configured accurately per the system requirements, both for their own tasks and any BSA I task that they are assigned to oversee, including assigned Annual Enrollment configuration responsibilities and dual year tasks. They should also show self-management of task prioritization, identify and communicate competing priorities with all stakeholders, identify risks within a reasonable time frame to not jeopardize deadlines, and independently reach out for assistance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, execute and track assigned client deliverables by maintaining and using processing guides according to processing calendar, and use process tracking system daily to ensure adherence to client SLAs (Service Level Agreement)Work closely with the Shared Services teams (ASOPS, BPSS, Service Center) to deliver quality results of ancillary servicesAnalyze and understand client requirements for the execution of implementation, Annual Enrollment and ongoing changesCreate, execute, and maintain accurate and detailed test plans (unit, function, integration, and regression) for all new system functionality testingLeverage technology to automate ongoing processes and create the most efficient and stable delivery of services to clientsResponsible for issue research, resolution, root cause analysis, system audits and advanced system configuration with senior supportResearch and analyze cases, putting in place solutions to address root cause with the intent to reduce ongoing case volume and effectively prevent reoccurring system issuesPossess advanced knowledge and understanding of current system functionality; escalate gaps in functionality, as appropriateResponsible for key dashboard items, including change management tickets, case management, issue trending, and data checksResponsible for clear documentation of processing guides and technical documentationContribute to client satisfaction through quality work product and provide timely internal and external responsesWork with managers and client teams to support timely provision migrations for aligned clientsRecord time accurately in accordance with stated deadlines to the correct project and category to ensure that scope, cost and resources allocation per project can be calculatedParticipate in internal and external meetings with client and third party vendorsResponsible for serving as a backup for the BSA ISupport BSA I through onboarding and knowledge growth
