JOB TITLE: Business Systems Analyst
LOCATION: 11000 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.
DUTIES: Support and implement delivery of key Data Access and Security processes specifically around Data Use and Rights. Work closely with developers and business teams to implement and improve Data Access control across the ecosystem. Support Data Access and Security Governance team in defining and developing policies, standards, processes, and metrics to support Data Governance agenda. Develop, implement, and maintain data access control KPI, metrics, and scorecards to monitor and control access issues. Collaborate with source stakeholders across multiple platforms to enhance data access control for enhancing program and product value. Perform data analysis and data profiling on incoming data relative to supporting data access and data use and rights processes. Work with cross-functional teams in solving complex and/or critical issues, and to develop innovative solutions. Interpret data flow, access patterns, and actively participate in improving overall access control. Actively align with Enterprise Level methodologies and principals and identify opportunities to translate these into executable and measurable processes to protect data assets. Communicate effectively with internal and external team members. Participate in influencing initiatives and other team members in adhering to data governance principles and policies. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S
REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Business Systems Analyst-related occupation. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: Data Governance principals; data release precautions and HIPAA regulations; working with raw healthcare data (members, medical claims, etc.); Agile concepts and methodologies; SQL; API and or Kafka
RATE OF PAY: $111,422 - $150,748 /year
