Role/Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Business System Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. The analyst will be responsible for developing and improving financial models along with providing technical support and address assistance on a new EPM Cloud platform. The analyst will be part of the larger team providing analytical data insights to the Finance organization.
Functional Responsibilities
Provide efficient and effective technical support for the Finance organization in financial close and planning.Tackle and resolve application support requests and incidents raised from data issues, metadata changes, and integration.Collaborate with the Functional Team to understand business requirements and develop high quality codes that are easy to maintain. Analyse, design, and develop efficient financial models in OneStream via different project lifecycle methods. Support QA and User Acceptance Testing effort and prepare cutover/release plans. Identify bottlenecks and bugs in cube and calculation performance and formulate solutions with teams.Research and test application maintenance and version upgrade with comprehensive documentations. Assist in crafting Knowledge Base documents and work to transfer knowledge of projects/improvements to functional and operational teams.Apply JIRA platform to build, update, and supervise demand and operational items as it is a repository for IT audit controls and management reporting. Possess eye for business and customer service attitude to deliver high quality products.Scope/Supervision: Raise concerns to the appropriate level of management and keep management informed of activities.Interact with project team, global FP&A, Accounting, IT counterpart, and other Finance teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in management information systems, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or other related fields. Expertise in EPM Admin. 2 to 3 years of experience in data modelling, business analysis, and system operationsExperience with EPM Cloud tools in budgeting, forecasting or related finance fields.Understanding of EPM architectural platform, security model, calculation functions, and business rules.Experience with various IT project lifecycle is a plus.Experience with OneStream, either as end-user and / or System Admin is a plus.Excel spreadsheet (must) skills along with experience in JIRA and ServiceNow platform is a plus. Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, and AWS architecture and services a plus.
